What YAVA can deliver.

Our services are organised across three core areas. Each can be engaged independently, although many clients combine them to provide continuity from initial planning through to implementation and day-to-day operations.

Commercial activity 01 · Advise

Technology advice and system design

We help you decide what technology you need, how it should work and how it should be delivered. We start with the operational problem, not the product.

What we do
  • Technology strategy and roadmaps

  • Technical requirements and system design

  • System architecture

  • Review of existing systems

  • Supplier selection and technology sourcing

  • Procurement, tender and bid support

  • Integration planning

  • Market entry support

  • Advice on security and operational requirements

Who buys it
  • Government departments and authorities

  • Infrastructure operators

  • Defence and security companies

  • Prime contractors and investors

  • Asset owners

  • Technology companies entering new markets

What you receive
  • A clear definition of what is required

  • A practical system design

  • Suitable technology and supplier options

  • A realistic delivery plan

  • Clear costs and responsibilities

  • Agreed next steps

Our advice is based on delivery experience. We do not write a plan and leave you to find someone to build it. Where required, our own engineers deliver what we recommend.

Commercial activity 02 · Build and run

Software and systems delivery

We build software and connect it with the IT, equipment and infrastructure needed to run your operation. One team designs, builds, deploys and supports the whole system.

Software and platforms

  • Bespoke software

  • Web and mobile platforms

  • Business and workflow systems

  • Payment and revenue systems

  • Management dashboards

IT and infrastructure

  • Networks and connectivity

  • Cloud and hybrid environments

  • Servers and data storage

  • Identity and access systems

  • Backup, recovery and monitoring

Equipment and operational technology

  • CCTV and surveillance

  • Access control and biometrics

  • Sensors and field equipment

  • Command and control tools

  • Hardware to platform integration

Data, deployment and support

  • Data and reporting

  • Applied artificial intelligence

  • Deployment and training

  • Monitoring and technical support

  • 24 hour operational support

Why we work on site

Every site is different.

Every site has different equipment, infrastructure, operating procedures and physical constraints. Our engineers work at the site so the system is built around the real environment and tested under the conditions in which it must operate.

  • Work around live operations

  • Test the whole system in place

  • Train the people who will run it

  • Account for power and connectivity limits

  • Identify old or undocumented systems

  • Resolve problems that cannot be seen remotely

Typical projects include airport revenue management systems, digital payment systems, government platforms, hotel management and security systems, and custom business software.

We do not simply develop one part of the system. We bring software, infrastructure, equipment and daily operations together.

Commercial activity 03 · Assess and improve

Risk Intelligence and remediation

We inspect assets to find out what is genuinely secure, what is creating risk and what needs to be fixed. Our Risk Intelligence Platform, known as RIP, combines a remote review with an inspection by engineers at the asset.

Assessment
  • Risk Intelligence Platform (RIP)

  • Physical security review

  • IT and cyber review

  • Operational technology review

  • Human and procedural review

  • Risk scoring out of 100

Planning
  • Evidence supporting the findings

  • Explanation of how a loss could occur

  • Prioritised action plan

  • Remediation roadmap

  • Insurer brief where required

Delivery
  • Remediation delivery by our engineers

  • Installation and hardening

  • Monitoring after the work

  • Reassessment and rescoring

  • Progress you can show an insurer

We can fix the weaknesses identified during the assessment. You receive practical risk reduction, not just a report.

After deployment

24 hour operational support.

Monitoring, incident response and system maintenance, run by the engineering team that built the system. We stay with the work after it goes live, including for international and remote operations.

  • Technical support and remote monitoring

  • Incident response and escalation

  • System maintenance and optimisation

  • Infrastructure troubleshooting

  • Support for international and remote operations
