YAVA · About

The work behind the positioning.

YAVA is a technology engineering and operational risk intelligence firm working across the global south.
WHO WE ARE

YAVA exists because critical systems often don't work the way they're supposed to. Software vendors build software. Hardware vendors install hardware. Cyber consultancies write reports. Nobody owns the whole environment, and the gaps between them are where things fail.

We are a British engineering firm that designs, builds, integrates, deploys and supports the systems organisations actually use. We are deliberately not a consultancy. We do not produce strategy decks for someone else to deliver. We deliver.

Our engineering teams are based in the markets we serve. We deploy on the ground in places most international firms will not enter, including South Sudan, Iraq, the DRC, Lebanon and Palestine. Our work is insurance-backed through Compass Point Assist and operates inside strict UK Bribery Act, sanctions and export-control frameworks.

Across all of it, the principle is consistent. Systems should operate as one environment, not a collection of parts. Where they do, organisations gain visibility, control and resilience. Where they don't, they pay for it.

01 / Practical

Working systems, not slide decks.

Every engagement ends with technology running in production, not a recommendation to hire someone else to build it.

02 / Resident

Senior engineers in the region.

Our teams are based in the regions we serve. Cost-appropriate, locally accountable, available without a long-haul flight.

03 / Integrated

One partner, one accountable team.

Software, infrastructure, hardware, security and 24/7 operations under one contract. Failures don't fall through vendor gaps.

04 / Compliant

Operational in difficult markets.

Active delivery across 50+ jurisdictions, including high-risk environments, with full compliance to international frameworks.

05 / Continuous

The team that builds, runs.

We stay on the system after deployment. 24/7 monitoring, incident response and continuous improvement, by the engineers who shipped it.

06 / Honest

Quiet confidence, not overclaim.

British engineering register. We say what we do, document it carefully, and let the work speak. No exaggerated case studies.

Our Work in the Field

YAVA’s work is built around practical delivery, not theory. Our teams operate alongside clients, partners and local stakeholders across the UK, UAE, India, Africa and other complex environments, supporting projects that span technology deployment, risk intelligence, systems integration and operational resilience.
