YAVA is a British technology engineering company. We advise, build and protect the systems that governments, infrastructure operators and businesses depend on.
Who we are
One company responsible for the complete system.
YAVA exists because critical systems often do not work the way they are supposed to. Software suppliers build software. Hardware suppliers install hardware. Consultancies write reports. Nobody owns the whole environment, and the gaps between them are where things fail.
We design, build, integrate, deploy and support the systems organisations actually use. We are not only a consultancy, a software agency, a cyber company, a security company or a hardware supplier. We combine advice, engineering, on-site delivery, risk assessment, remediation and continuing support.
Our engineering teams are based in the markets we serve. We deploy on the ground in places most international firms will not enter. Our work operates inside UK Bribery Act, sanctions and export control frameworks.
Our purpose

Our goal is to make essential infrastructure safer, more efficient and more reliable, particularly in the world's most complex operating environments, because reliable infrastructure is often most important where technical support, suitable suppliers and experienced engineering teams are hardest to find.
High-risk environments
Sites where security threats, instability or hazardous conditions change how the work has to be done.
Low-resource environments
Places with limited power, connectivity, spare parts or local technical support. Most of our work involves both.
Where failure is costly
A fault can affect safety, revenue, security or a public service, so the infrastructure has to keep working.

Our people
The engineers we deploy.
We send our own engineers to the site, wherever in the world it is. They are used to demanding conditions, and they can put problems right while they are there.
- Many are former Indian military
- A large part of our field team served in the Indian armed forces. They are trained to work under pressure, in unfamiliar and hostile conditions.
- At home in difficult places
- Used to working with limited power, connectivity and local support, on sites others reach only at a distance.
- Engineers, not auditors
- The same people who find a problem can design and install the fix, so issues are closed out rather than logged.
- Led from five regional bases
- Teams deploy from London, Geneva, Nairobi, Kolkata and Dubai, with experience across more than 50 countries.
Our people

YAVA is run by its partners and a technical leadership team, supported by regional teams and field engineers who can reach difficult sites. A significant part of the field team is drawn from experienced former military personnel, including veterans of the British and Indian Armies.
Whoever is engaged, from named leadership to regional associates, works under a single line of accountability to the client, within YAVA's compliance and quality framework.
Partners
Brought in only where an asset calls for it.
YAVA delivers with its own people and its own capability, from assessment and design through to installation and daily running. Specialist partners are used only where a particular asset requires them.
Salama Fikira Group
Operational security, intelligence and protective services across East Africa, the Middle East and other complex environments. SF Group brings in-region operational presence; YAVA delivers the technology layer behind it. Together we deliver integrated programmes combining physical security and technology infrastructure where neither capability alone is sufficient.
Compass Point Assist
Joint delivery of on-site risk assessments, insurance assistance and engineering led validation across high-value assets. Compass Point Assist provides risk capital and underwriting backing that makes deployment in fragile and high-risk markets commercially viable. Where YAVA assesses and remediates, Compass Point Assist underwrites and structures.
Sourcing and deployment network
A curated global network covering surveillance, sensors, drones, perimeter, communications, maritime and defence-grade hardware. Every supplier vetted for use-case fit, regional performance, compliance and cost-appropriate pricing. The right kit for the environment, sourced at the right price, integrated by our team.
Regional delivery partners
YAVA works with vetted regional partners across the UAE, India, East Africa and SE Asia for in-country logistics, customs, local engineering support and field operations. Partner relationships are managed under YAVA's compliance and quality framework, governed by single accountability to the client.
